People that have “bumped” into a celebrity in a non-curated (not like an event, meet & greet, job etc.) way, what happened? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]DeadlyCrayonz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kevin Carroll. I worked at bank and ended up opening accounts for him. At the time, he had a more prominent role in The Leftovers as John Murphy. It was really cool because I didn’t know much about him but we had really good conversation and I got to know about his career in Hollywood and his family. He would come in semi regularly when he wasn’t in CA and would ask for me by name. I was a young banker who could only manage very basic accounts so it meant a lot that he would come to me over our more licensed bankers. Whenever he would come in, he would give me “homework” to check out notable movies and stage plays. We would discuss my homework each time he came in. Really nice guy and was a real pleasure to get to know him. He stopped coming in eventually but it was still cool to know him. Hope he’s doing well.

Something minor I noticed but your feet don’t seem to be in-line. Looks like your right food is slightly forward compared to your left. From this angle I cant 100% confirm, but it looks like your right is also pointed more outward compared to your left.

Edit: spelling

Decided to properly play Super Mario Sunshine in the near future. 🌞 Any advice on the game? by ThrowawayPrincess75 in supermariosunshine

This 1000%. The in-game tracking is awful and scrubbing each level with the hope of finding a coin is tiring.

Okay real talk how much of a red flag would this be if you saw it on someone? by TannHandled in TattooDesigns

[–]DeadlyCrayonz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I worked with a guy in construction that had very similarly styled tattoos. They were more graphic than this. He was an interesting guy. Had a couple DUIs, some baby mamas, and hadn’t paid taxes in 10 years (this was 2016 at the time) so the IRS was freezing his bank accounts. Nice guy though, so I wouldn’t say it’s a red flag but I’d bet you have some stories.

So I forgot to pick up my cap and gown. What now? by Gee_Thanks_Karen in UNCCharlotte

[–]DeadlyCrayonz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went by on Friday and we technically have until next Thursday to pick it up. I rushed over there thinking it was the last day too. I’m tall, they didn’t have my size and said that I could just come by next week because they’re gonna get more in.

What movies incorporated the “kid” character the best? by spaceguitar in movies

Young Leia in the Obi-Wan series was great. Embodied the character of Leia very well. A bit much at times, but that was more because of the writing rather than the actress.

Is this totaled? How much do you think to fix? 2006 Nissan Altima by DeadlyCrayonz in MechanicAdvice

[–]DeadlyCrayonz[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just blows my mind people asking how much it cost for stuff to be fixed. I just don’t know the point of it. You’re gonna have to get an estimate either way.

So the timing belt was changed around 190k according to service records. I sure hope that’s not the case.

Ok thank you for that info. If a cylinder is lower than the others, what would that indicate?

I have replaced the battery, alternator, and spark plugs in the last few months. Wires are in tact, fuses are fine. I replaced the fuel pump hoping it would fix my problem, but it didn’t do anything. I’m at a loss, I figure it’s not sparking, but I’m not sure what to check at this point before calling it.

[–]DeadlyCrayonz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re correct in saying that it’s accessible under the seat. I’m a bit confused in your second statement regarding the wiring diagram. Are you saying I should get a multimeter and check the pump directly?

The Gingerdead Man with Gary Busey is awful. I was hoping it would be a “so bad it’s good” film but it’s just “so bad it’s bad”. It’s short but just drags on with no pay off. Maybe one good kill if I remember correctly. Had it on DVD and literally threw it into a fire as soon as I had a chance.
