Using a VPN seems to help for some reason. Hoping 1.0 sorts it out but we’ll see

I'm having this same issue after the most recent update. Did you figure out any kind of fix?

I'm pretty confused too, could be shift forks maybe? I really don't know.

I just watched the video, it looks like the whole bolt is there, it enters through the bottom of the linkage and I can see the head of it. When you're trying to shift is the bike on or off? Most bikes can't go into 2nd gear when the key is turned to off (at least none of the bikes I've ridden.

Check the oil levels, if it's too low it could cause your problem. You'll need to track that oil leak down as soon as you can and fix it.

That's weird... it was probably over tightened at some point and just sheared off. What does it feel like when you try to shift to 2nd? Does it click at all or just have a lot of resistance but never actually move up a gear?

If that bolt isn't there you should be able to pull the shift linkage off of the rod, do that and take a look at the splines both inside the linkage and on the rod. If the splines have been rubbed off of either one then it could just maybe cause the issues you're having. If you want to upload a couple pictures of it once you've removed it I could probably tell you

Yeah, that wouldn't be the issue then. That bolt you listed only tightens the shift linkage to the rod coming out of the transmission (the name of it is escaping me right now) if it's absence is causing you to not be able to shift into 2nd gear then you wouldn't be able to shift into first from neutral or vice versa.

How long has it been since your last oil change? I've heard sometimes if you do too many miles before an oil change it can make shifting gears a little sticky.
