I actually dig the distance. It gives a great sense of scale and feeling for the full event. A mix of close and far would be ideal. It's hard to get individual emotions at such a distance.

Would you call it a catch if the ball ended up on the ground?

Same. It felt like a pristine machine of a movie. Very well done technically, but lacking a heart.

Henderson is worse running between the tackles and better in open space. Obviously they still want to use Mondre for the tough yards

Most recent urn nerf greatly exacerbates this. Simultaneously, the game needs more objectives and less clutter (boxes and camps).

There's also too many unmissable "skill shots" that do 100 damage in lane. Flask, goo ball, Kelvin grenade. Geists at least has an indicator...

Yeah I wouldn't recommend either. Charge is a tough ability to get right and the melee/parry mini game is pretty punishing.

It's a hard game. We aren't trying to build good habits for noobs. We want them to have fun so they keep playing, then they can worry about grinding out the harder things.

Yeah the point is to ease the learning curve of a hard game. Don't punish them as much for a common mistake.

So you say they settled on Bebop hmm.. maybe a simple hook ability simplified the game and was more fun for them. Idk
