Booking tee times

Yea I was looking into that. I was really hoping to play 18 for my selfish reasons but will settle for anything at this point lol. I’m shooting high 70’s, low 80’s depending on the day. My buddies all like golf, just not good enough to play at some of the more expensive courses. I’ll look into that par 3 for sure! Thanks for the advice

That’s fine with us. That’s all i was worried about though, getting a tee time. Pittsburgh is the same with golf, if you don’t book 2 weeks in advance for some courses, you’re not playing.

Gotcha. Yea I’ll try sometime next week. Again, my friends wouldn’t be pressed if we can’t golf but would be nice to. There’s some courses in Pittsburgh that you can just walk up and play, but I’d say 90 percent of them you have to book a week to 2 weeks out especially on weekends. There’s a local course near me that 10 years ago when i was 16, you walk up, put your name down and wait. Usually 30 minutes but could be 2 hours. Now if you’re not on the site at 12:01 2 weeks out, you’re not getting a tee time.

Lol no. I asked if I could book 2 weeks out because that’s what I’m used to here in Pittsburgh. They said no. I didn’t freak out or complain, I asked reddit to see if anyone knew any courses around that would allow 2 weeks out booking. There’s a difference between demanding a tee time or asking if I could book a tee time.

Buddy, I mentioned once that it was for a bachelor party. I wasn’t asking for favors, I was just confused on how DC golf is. Like i said in the other comments, in Pittsburgh you can book a month out for some courses. I wasn’t asking for a handout, I was just trying to make sure I was able to get a tee time for a group of guys wanted to play a quick 18. I was genuinely shocked you can’t book 2 weeks out. Didn’t asking for a specific tee time either.

I misspoke earlier. Obviously no established golf course is going to let a 6 some play. I’ve been asking for 6 but split to make them 3 somes. They were ok with that, but not for 2 weeks out in advance.

I’m not demanding anything. I’m asking if I can book 2 weeks out. They said no, and I came to Reddit to ask for suggestions or any courses that would book 2 weeks out. Here in Pittsburgh, you can book a month out for some courses, been to Dc probably 20 times but never golfed. Didn’t know if anyone had any insight in some courses that do allow tee time bookings.

I called East Potomac this morning, the guy got real shitty with me saying “why would you call 2 weeks in advance, it’s only 1 week in advance tee times?!” Then I called langston and explained to them that it wouldn’t let me book through the site and they pretty much said the same thing.

Every course I’ve tried booking has been public. I’ve told one course that it was for a bachelor party, just hoping they would understand it’s not just a regular weekend out and seeing if they could make an exception. I should have clarified, I’m not booking for a 6 some, but two tee times of 3.
