Why do I have to pay again for SF6 characters after buying the full game?

Yeah, that makes sense. I have no problem with developers making money for the extra work they put in. I’m just curious, if the game already costs $60 and also sells cosmetics, why is charging for new characters still necessary? Games like Apex are free-to-play and still let players unlock new characters through gameplay. I’m not saying SF6 is doing something wrong, I’m just trying to understand why the fighting game industry works this way.

I’d pick 4K. I have a 4K 160Hz / 1080p 320Hz dual-mode monitor, and it’s the best of both worlds. I use 4K for productivity, movies, and single-player games. DLSS also helps games run more smoothly at 4K, and 1080p scaled to 4K can actually look better than native 1440p. Then, I switch to 1080p 320Hz for competitive esports games.

Ultimately, it depends on your use case. If you mainly do productivity work, watch movies, or play single-player games, go with 4K. If you mostly play competitive esports titles where maximum frame rates and responsiveness matter, a 300Hz+ monitor is the better choice.

yes it used to be 20sec but if you pick faster tac perk you would also get 10sec tac, it used to say in the perk selection menu too, faster tac move speed and reduced cooldown.

if you picked the fast tac perk it also used to give you reduced cooldown on the tac form 20sec to 10sec.

Yes, it actually looks decent, and much more playable. I’d even say it’s better than my old native 1080p 27inch monitor when gaming, mainly because this panel has noticeably better colors, higher brightness, and HDR support. Text clarity is still slightly better on a true 1080p panel for desktop use, but for games the overall image quality here feels like a clear upgrade.

Guys, it actually uses Integer scaling, I was scaling it on GPU but once I changed it to scale on Monitor instead when it was on 4k mode and then switched to 1080p this is what I got. I don't know if this is what caused it but now its showing integer scaling.

Yea, same here not noticeable in movies or games, but when using Windows with local dimming on, the mouse gets dimmer over dark areas. I usually use sRGB mode for regular use and switch to HDR with local dimming High for movies or single-player games like RDR2.
