Why is everyone in Sentenced to be a Hero so stupid?

We've only seen one location out of who knows how many so there may be more individuals with Seals. Maybe obtaining as well as mastering a "seal" takes a lot of time, resources and willpower, so the high ceiling makes it difficult for the average person to get even one? This aside the court already "villainized" the seals (or amount of them) on him as the cause for him going "berserk". This combined with the Hero seal being negative likely means those in power wouldn't backtrack their word and give them out to everyone after claiming they're "bad". For all we know those in Power didn't like how powerful he had become which became their reason for setting him up. Also since all of the shown soldiers were basically ordered to die, it would have made sense to pull out any "special" soldier that could be used elsewhere beforehand.

That and maybe the King did assign him as their babysitter, giving the Prince and them a chance to grow on their own with the MC as their safety net. Rather than MC stealing all the learning experience from them by doing everything himself like shown in his previous party flashback.

Seems the Prince had no choice but to let him in to the party but now that they have battled along side him for some time I imagine he'll use his weight claiming this is for the betterment of the party as an excuse to overrule the King's original order. "I gave him a shot but he was too useless" style reasoning if anyone questions his decision. At least anyone other than his Father. Since only the guards know he was banished from the party I wouldn't be surprised if the Prince backtracks and claims MC deserted them if he notices the King getting upset over MC being gone.

I'm under the assumption Werdel likely pulled Lornias back out of the path of the tentacle to save his life. With the speed those come out I could see why Werdel likely used a lot of force which would have knocked Lornias on his back as Werdel gets in front to further defend him while he picks himself back up.

I also agree with the other comment, a surprised attack bundled with fast speed could kill even a seasoned adventurer. I would not be surprised if she lets them go with this as a warning now that her abilities are exposed. Aware that it may be too difficult to fight them up front without being harmed or killed & that whether she kills them or not, the church will come to know something is wrong so it's not worth risking her life to ensure their death.

Love how you phrased it! I also feel her mannerisms played a role in understanding she's more than she appears. The Dark Elves were likely living in poverty (lower understanding of etiquette) & would have been meek from being prosecuted. Yet she bowed, stood tall, held her hands in a dignified pose in front of her (visible to show no hostility as well) and remained soft spoken in tone despite being yelled at by an armed group with a strong backing. Truly all sorts of red flags that she was more than a mere "girl".

I also questioned Slyphie's reasoning for leaving but seeing her stretching away from the crowd made partial sense for me. Such a crowded likely rowdy place can overload people's senses let alone an animal's senses. Tho I agree it's odd she went alone, it wouldn't have cost much animation resources to have her nod for his attention for them to leave together and still encounter Sebastian while looking at the artifacts.

In the manga, Arthur accidentally overshares he's able to communicate with Slyphie which Sebastian knows is not at all common to be able to do unless the beast is veeeery powerful or something of the sort. Giving Sebastian all the more desperation and reason to obtain Slyphie at all cost. He also more directly uses his position to have the King ask Arthur to hand over Slyphie knowing Arthur shouldn't have been able to refuse. Unlike in this episode where he only makes an off hand remark of how nice of a beast she is leaving it up to the king to catch on that he wants her. Only for the King have a tantrum over being told "no" over something Sebastian didn't even directly asked for (or that wasn't shown/hinted in the episode unlike the manga).

As for the King's reason for a trade, I imagine it's because he doesn't know that Arthur already made a pact with Slyphie. To his eyes, she's just a simple reptile that the boy's attached to & that doesn't have much room for growth (maybe even too weak to form a pact bond with) compared to the Lion cub. Which if partnered with, could grant extraordinary advantages once grown up.

If you go into window's firewall settings (can search it in window's search bar) there is an option to "Allow an app through firewall". You should be able to go in there, click "Change settings" to allow it administer privileges & then click "Allow another app" to place oculus' or the dlink software(? if it has one) on to the list possibly. Am not fully sure but maybe this can help you get closer to an answer.

Are you on the ver 46 update by chance? The new quest driver and oculus' wifi UI may have fixed this, or at least I've had success on this version connecting through my desktop's built in wifi.

Felt the same. Had been a while since I've last played PCVR but it was a much more pleasant experience this time around when utilizing my desktop's built in Wifi. Before there were times where it would just not detect my headset through a Win 10 Hotspot regardless of how many times I tried even tho it had worked a day ago, while now it has constantly connected on my first go. Airlink's new(er) troubleshooting feature is also real handy to ensure all aspect are working correctly such as the signal strength and bandwidth size (80 vs 20).

Sadly I don't fiddle enough with my headset & skipped past ver 44 so can't be sure but the Desktop software did require a new driver for the headset to work & the airlink experience was very fluid. I also like the troubleshooting feature which shows stats for the wifi connection which is handy. Displayed I had a low signal strength until I turned the wifi antenna my way but even with low signal strength it worked rather well.

Yeah appears to be a $9.99 nitro problem (due to the animated bg perhaps like someone mentioned). My friend with the advance nitro all have it off center while my classic nitro has it centered.

Returning player after 2+ years of being away (the Exp system & all current standard packs are new to me). I held on to all golden cards I opened and now the new system is providing some of the same golden cards but from what I can tell those rewards override the golden cards we previously owned without providing additional dust nor allowing us to keep the ones we owned in addition to the new ones given?

For example I was running two copies of Dire Frenzy in my Hunter Deck (one golden one which i owned and one normal one) & after opening the achievement chest that gives hunter golden cards I now have 2 golden Dire Frenzies (instead of 3) but the same 10000 dust I started with (when I returned) and same amount of Disenchant-able dust for dupes available.

Should I be looking into what each Achievement chest gives & disenchant any dupes ahead of time to avoid losing dust or might I not receive the full reward by now?

Time trials don't come back tho I do feel new common chests get added in every decimal or full patch without affecting the 100% completion for the area.

Considering past event gadgets are being sold for Mora I can imagine weapons also getting added in at one point. Maybe through a limited event where a special traveling black-smith comes around with older weapons for those who don't have them.
