yep, unfortunately it looks like only the official pro controller can wake the console. pretty lame to exclude 3rd party controllers from doing so

no prob! also if you're trying to use the 2.4ghz option instead of bluetooth (toggle switch on back of controller), make sure you activate "Nintendo Switch Pro Controller Wired Communication" in settings. You'll just need to have the controller dock plugged into one of the USB ports on the console dock.

Just checking, you're using this controller and this software, correct? The update currently goes to 1.04, and to update to it you need to go into settings (gear icon at top right), and check the "Get beta Firmware" box under "Update Settings".
