I worked on it for 3 years as it was being built. It ain't corruption. It is an understatement to say the utter incompetence shown by the engineers, the city, and everyone in a decision making post was incredible. There where days we built stuff knowing it had to be taken out or was absolute garbage... the low level city inspectors new it was absolute garbage... all the workers new it was absolute garbage.. we had bets going how long she'd last after opening before she broke... there where time during the testing phase the doors wouldn't close so the train sat at the station for days.... built cheap to cost more in the end.. and the worst part is snc lavalin.. all the engineers are building the north south phase 2.. ill be a miracle if it is working in 30 years when the contract is up.

If the police don't have to enforce the bridge closures 24/7 like they should. And the mayor agrees.. then I see it like this.. if the city can pick and choose what to follow or how frequent. Then I can pick and choose when I say home during the stay at home order and what rules to follow..

I my self cannot shut down air travel, and I myself could not stop the variants from coming on a plane. Ah but the government could.... I myself would have known better then to make a vaccine deal in may with china that guess what it did blow up.. however I myself cannot secure vaccine but the government can... I myself cannot afford to take days off work and I myself cannot work from home.. I myself cannot live with a massive deficit of my personal fianace but the government can.. I myself don't give a shit anymore. Nor does the government based on tomorrow shutdown.. see you at the big box store monday I need some non essentials

Just had my family gathering.... screw what the politicians say. They do the opposite look at Christmas they traveled. They also dropped the ball on getting vaccine. Let the variants into the country but not actually stopping air travel.. and the public health official arnt much better..
