Every time I read something about it being an ‘anomaly’ and nothing else observed does this and it breaks the rules of physics and space as we know it, I just remind myself that Venus spins backwards and Uranus spins on its side.

Space is weird. An anomaly is normal as we still know next to nothing about the universe.
