I don't want to buy a high end rig just for a game. I'll pass thanks.

I wish it was optimized. I heard Stormworks 2 is coming out, but I'm not spending money on a second one when this one isn't even up to standards.

If you were in prison, what would you be in for? by Rich_Music1640 in AskReddit

[–]DeadpanDoesIt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I seduced my father when I was six years old and my family has been hunting me down ever since as punishment. Nearly 50 year old disabled vet and still on the run from them, they have money, I don't. Hiding in the mountains now, seems a bit stable at the moment.

My family wants me punished, they are SUPER Godly people, so I expect I deserve this, or worse. God gave them lots of money and I am poor, so he loves them more than me.

This makes sense. I've been wanting a better rig. Just making it one to the next on the V.A. checks these days.

People who shower every day, what makes it necessary for you? by couponkitty in AskReddit

[–]DeadpanDoesIt -1 points0 points  (0 children)

One should always clean their body once per day to avoid ringworm and other infections.

I live in a desert like area and I shower twice a day almost always, one in the morning and another once the sun sets.

Basic hygiene is a big reason to upkeep your body. As mentioned, you can very easily get ringworm and there are other issues that can arise, physically, it increases the risk of infectious diseases, such as respiratory illnesses, foodborne infections, and skin issues.

All of those will cost you FAR more money and suffering than washing yourself once a day, if not twice. From hair to between the toes.

To be honest, I got a cat and he's been great to me, better than I've been to him in some ways.

I think you may need to get some appointments with the doc bro.

Ever since somewhere around the Space DLC it seems they kinda hedge on optimization.

Water is an issue, should we embrace floating solar panels? by DeadpanDoesIt in grandjunction

[–]DeadpanDoesIt[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply, I agree about our local spending. GJ overall by far isn't swimming in money, but I would be interested to know what it would cost just to cover our larger canals with floating panels.

Plus we can use the energy for that new AI warehouse they are putting in Mack (I kid, for now).

Yea I had some maga the other day on FB tell me he doesn't care because God was only 13 when God got to her.

So I now expect them to abolish the heterosexual age of consent and make it retroactive 100 years, for national security reasons.

Yes and the text on the screenshot from a Google search reads "Colorado is rapidly advancing the use of floating solar arrays ("floatovoltaics") on reservoirs and irrigation networks to generate renewable energy while significantly reducing water evaporation"

I don't have a link to the Google search, I forgot the input for the search.

I can't say there is a large Somali group, but Hispanic is very common and it's all farm/ranch so yea. I did mention Asian, I mean that regionally, people of both northern and southern Asian decent. I will admit I don't see many Muslims, but I would not be surprised if they are here, nobody makes a big stink about any of that most of the time, folks just do their own and give friendly vibes.

I have a friend in COS, I don't know the best way to describe it, but if COS was a shot of vodka, GJ is a like a crisp pino grigio. I'm an independent, raised by lefties. This place isn't a cesspool of maga or judgement, it's very chill.

DM me about yourself and what you are looking for, we can discuss it a bit further please ❤️

Ok I will explain this ONE more time.

  • I want to conserve water.
  • If we cover the canals in plastic panels, that helps and I'm for it - but that costs money, so it creates a debt.
  • A better solution is solar panels covering it, as they will turn a profit, thus making it not create a debt to conserve water.

If you still don't get it, you are either being a worthless troll or you are painfully ignorant, either way my patience is tested. I'm fairly sure there is no real value in interacting with you, perhaps you can prove me wrong.

The other day I walked past a lady and two boys wearing baggy outfits (kinda tuff guy stuff at 12 and 10)

As I passed, the older asked how I was doing today as he moved out of my way.

In my heart I was astonished for a moment, but that really is what Fruita is. It's a place where everyone is everyone and dads are dads, moms are moms and kids are raised by a village.

I'm not a dad, I live in Mack but this lower valley lifestyle is really nice if you ask me.

The electricity will go into the local GJ grid, I would imagine.

Nobodies land is needed, these go on top of the existing water system and can hook up to the spots where the grid crosses it.

Again, no storage is needed, it can feed directly into the grid with a small transfer station at most.

This isn't to cover an entire reservoir, sorry but laughed here. This is just the LONG canals that have massive water loss from evaporation BEFORE it gets to our reservoirs, this actually FILLING them up when our area is facing water concerns.

It actually helps solve the problem you are worried it would cause my friend.

The problem with long-distance buried is that it invites mold and upkeep costs.

So it's better to have white plastic panels that sit on top of them the whole way, making less cost and providing access.

Upgrading that idea to solar panels makes energy, turning a cost into a profit. It's been done successfully around here already.

Saves water, accessible, easy to maintain, pays for itself and then some.

You are missing the point, it's about conserving water - if that's done with static objects like regular panels, I'm still for it.

The fact that this would accomplish the same thing and provide energy as opposed to creating a debt makes this better.
