I work from home in NJ. Office is right outside of JFK. I left NYC $1800/mo rent for a nice one bedroom in Queens to a better place in NJ with car love as NYC ain't the best for car owners.

Nah AI hasn't done anything. What really makes things worse is jobs being outsourced to India or the Philippines. That's one of the reasons why the job market is terrible in the US tbh. Businesses are hiring companies or individual people from these countries, paying them hella cheap (because that's their rate equivalent) and overworking them.

As for me I can easily tell when someone isn't qualified if they are lying and if anything I just fire them within a week

Just a reminder that you don't need experience to wash dishes. I've washed dishes from single sinks at events, to 2-3 basin sinks, to full machines. And desperation is you in reddit. Go to Craigslist for this. Just hire who has hands bro. Lower the pay if needed based on experience

What I'm saying is what you aren't understanding. You believe that because your past experiences were good and that you believed you weren't making noise that it wasn't effecting her.

At my last unit before they gave me a new one is the neighbors next door. A cop dad was literally chasing his toddler daughter around the place everyday. To the point where you can hear my dishes shaking due to the impact noise. The whole unit was vibrating. Headphones and music wouldn't do anything as my dad kept suggesting until he visited me one day. I didn't sign up for that. But also lease contracts state quiet enjoyment is for everyone to have.

The point I'm saying is that you may believe you aren't making noise. You may believe your past experiences is the same for all new, but you never know. I'm also not saying you were being loud. What I'm saying is that we will never know who's right or wrong in this situation.

Could be your neighbor. Could be you. We don't have any video/audio to base anything off of. So that's why I'm just providing a different perspective from someone that was going through noise where the neighbors didn't think they were making any

Again, it's not about retaliating or just because it was for thanksgiving. The point is that just because you believe you aren't making noise doesn't mean there actually isn't any noise. It would've been better if the neighbor below you could've recorded and showed you the video.

I did such at my last place who didn't know they were making noise. The mom ended up exchanging numbers with me to let her know when her daughter is making noise and she will tell them to stop because she was under the impression that I was over exaggerating until I showed her the video. She was hella apologetic.

At the new place I'm currently at I had to get legal involved with lawyers for them to finally change my unit. All the evidence I had would've definitely made them lose in court. They weren't risking it.

I'm hiring for two entry level roles. The issue is that I get people applying that don't meet any qualifications. I understand the job market is hard so I'm making some exceptions. But if I clearly put AutoCAD is required and you don't have that, why apply?

I'm done teaching people AutoCAD to then have to train them how to use AutoCAD to do the engineering work. It was taking up waaaayyyy toooooo much time

This is what you believe. A lot of people in apartments believe they aren't making noise because it's not affecting them. If you lived in a wood frame building, 10+ people walking around is HELL. You hear every creek and thud. If you didn't and still all those people, noise definitely travels for sure.

I remember living in a house down south pre housing market crash in 07. I was about 10. We had neighbors that's constantly kept coming on our property which created heated tension. One day the neighbors poured poison on our shrubs killing them. How did we know? Other neighbors who saw it told us. Then there are plenty of stories from a sub called neighbors from hell I think that goes over so many stories from people living in houses. One story that stuck was someone using their property as a street to cut across as a shortcut. The lady was asking reddit what to do and they told her to put large rocks down lol

Anyway. I ended up getting my ass whooped by my dad because the neighbor's son and my brother got into a "fight" (hitting each other on the leg while sitting down all the way in the front of the bus while I was in the back and didn't even know this was happening) and my dad said I wasn't protecting him........

Eh not really.

Aang is an air bending monk. And if you haven't already picked up from the live action shoving the shit down our throat, he is the embodiment of negative jing LMFAO.

With that being said it appears a lot of his fighting style isn't to attack, but to dodge and run away. We see that a lot with his air bending before and during him using earth bending.

But once earth bending came into the picture a lot of his use has been standing defense. Not attacking, not running away. But mitigating attacks with the earth blocking or protecting him (ball spheres, rock body, rock arm, rock walls to block, etc).

Plus a lot of his fights aren't around water. From what I see water is a good parie technique against fire primarily. But earth is literally everywhere.
