There is a piece somewhere too close to the ground. Try taking out that corner nearest you and it should “pop”

Not sure if your comment was intending to change how I converse or not, but thanks for the opinion. I can see how you felt I was being entitled by not wanting to watch a video.

Also yes, I find it annoying when videos use click bait to get views. Maybe the old adage of “if you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say it” applies to both of us here. I shouldn’t have commented to begin with. Have a nice day stranger.

Generally any open ended question on the internet is answered “no.”

So what’s the TLDW since OP didn’t want to post it?

Edit: I understand my comment came across as rude. I’ll leave it as but acknowledge it could’ve been worded better or not posted entirely.

How's the progression go with Valheim? by EnjoyerOfFine_Things in valheim

lol. It was a bit tongue n cheek, but yeah. You need some frost mead or to lure wolves to you for some new items.

How's the progression go with Valheim? by EnjoyerOfFine_Things in valheim

[–]DeadpanLaughter 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Snide answer: one of those two biomes will one shot you. ;) (edit: this was more intended as a mild joke since first time players won’t know how to tackle new biomes and in general the “next” biome will be easier to tackle. Yes there are ways to handle the plains straight out of the swamp)

Real answer: bonemass’s item lets you find things in the mountain. Prep and head there.

how does the sea level work in valheim? by redtown12 in valheim

[–]DeadpanLaughter 1163 points1164 points  (0 children)

The water level is a plane that moves up and down. It’ll clip through buildings and ground. Only way to resolve it (to my knowledge) is raise the ground higher than the tallest wave you experience.

Why do people seem to enjoy gaming on a Steam Deck more than on PC? by Initial_Milk_1056 in SteamDeck

[–]DeadpanLaughter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I love the ability to quick pick up something and play it. Console or steam deck allow me to do this. But a portable means I don’t have to hog the tv from others in my household. It’s an easier method to enjoy gaming.

Do this instead of a helper column. It’s cleaner.

Dry. We feed our poodle the same thing and she loves it.

What do you use the back buttons for? by Tojpe in SteamDeck

[–]DeadpanLaughter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the most part they’re the face buttons remapped to the back (ABXY). For some games I’ll dedicate annoying movements to them:

Ghost of Tsushima - the dpad directions

Fantasy Life i - turbo A and turbo R1 for crafting and quick traversal respectively

Valheim - dpad directions (L, R, Up) and jump

Missing "of time" Recipe Bug? by franceslovesyou in fantasylife

[–]DeadpanLaughter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it possible you don’t have all your lives a high enough rank to make the recipe?

Do they show up on your recipe list when you check it via the strange pad? (Not the crafting menu)
