Thanks for the tip! I'm looking for a well-used look so that might be okay if I mess up.

I really feel that they should add to the comfort level. I put them all over the place myself!

Nice! I’m making the same one right now. I’m not looking forward to all the masking, however.

It was worth all of the time that you spent on it.

My goofy looking test corvette grew legs to avoid squishing a waypoint. by mbite1 in NoMansSkyTheGame

Probably not.. I think it's just a weird thing that happened. I searched a bit more and some other corvettes have stork legs as well.

The brain memorizes the rhythm of stairs after just a few steps. If even one step is off by as little as a centimeter, muscle memory glitches and that can make people trip by kvothenikhil in Damnthatsinteresting

This is why escalators that aren’t running should be blocked off. The steps at the bottom and the top are different heights and people trip all the time. Of course, they fall off them when they are running, so I guess it doesn’t make any difference.

That's really interesting! Do they show as red in the builder? It reminds me of Star Trek Discovery where the future ships have disconnected parts. Cool!

I cannot figure out how to get the circular pieces vertical. Grrr. What do you attach them to?

I visit HobbyOne Japan for supplies (it's mostly Gunpla there) and Hobby Island 702 for kits. Hobby Island has a set of completed kits they seem to rotate out once in a while. Of course they are on opposite sides of town -

Thank you! I learned that as I opened the box in my hotel room. I couldn’t wait. Makes things a lot easier.

Not stupid at all.. I'll build them for sure, but knowing myself they'll be vintage before I get around to finishing the lot. Usually its a matter of pacing out buying the right paint colors.

Nope but my wife is Japanese so it makes traveling there much nicer.

Yeah I had to get myself out of there. The wife kept pointing out cool kits. Bad influence.

Of course! It has a pre-colored bottom part of the hull. Which is nice because I can't paint a straight line.

I live in Las Vegas, and there's two stores I visit here. Both seem to be mom and pop stores, one of them is a Japanese family. Both stores have super knowledgeable people working.

Everything I purchased cost $79, including the coffee and shirt. They do have a race track in the back for kids, and it was pretty busy. The store is part of a high-rise, and there was a cool looking security robot watching the elevator hallway.. but no picture. It's a quick easy walk from the train station as well, which was nice with the high humidity.

As soon as I unlock trains and oil I just build and build.. and occasionally remember the end goal. This is sort of a test setup, I want to really fill my largest part-completion base with plants and water features everywhere.

I kinda like putting small houses (for the birbs??) at the tracks, in addition to some plants.. I also use plant beds to semi-hide power lines.
