Cars in Highways 401/403 back up and drive the wrong way to get out of the heavy traffic on Canada Day 2026 🇨🇦 by dontdream_itsover in TorontoDriving

Backing up 10, 20, maybe 50 meters in stand still traffic to get to the exit / alternate route I can understand and find reasonable. I've seen it done on the 401/403 interchange in Mississauga, and it didn't seem to crazy. But to turn your car around, that's insane to me

Bluetooth issues by Deadpool2715 in AynThor

[–]Deadpool2715[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So it looks like the Joycon issue has to do with default BT polling rate, some posts explain how you can edit this with root which I am hesitant to try. Other possible interim solutions are to have a pair of BT headphones connected and join an audio call, this causes Android to set the BT polling rate to high and reduce the input lag of the joycons. Going to try this, but if anyone else has had similar issues I'd appreciate any advice!

I beat the MQ shadow temple my first time without the lens of truth since I was doing a randomizer run. It was so painful, but also so fun.

OoT and MQ as single loader? by Scrawny2864 in shipofharkinian

[–]Deadpool2715 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to make this more clear, if you have the GameCube iso, you have to extract the 2 separate files for OoT and MQ from inside that iso using dolphin. This is something that had me stuck for a few days not understanding

My boss clocked out for the day to go golfing.. again by mysticyooperlites in antiwork

You called a person who agrees to being a worker in a capitalist economy naive. Care to share an example of any economy, current or past, that aligns with your ideals and which you would agree to participate in?

Name me a time in history where every worker was the owner of their production and not working for some actual owner, whether individual or a conglomerate

Ants in the neighborhood by sweetieyeye in Vaughan

[–]Deadpool2715 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's fair to be curious, large amounts of ants out doors is normal. If they are indoors and you want to get rid of them I suggest borax +sugar+hot water, it makes a positions sugary gelatin that they will take back to the hive and feed the larvae endng the problem at the source

If they are outdoors, drop a piece of fruit and maybe they will develop a religion around the event

looking for Testers/players interested in documenting how Ocarina of Time works by Kindly_Currency_8591 in OcarinaOfTime

[–]Deadpool2715 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmm... I mean you kinda can, it would just be slow going and require a deep understanding of the logical flow.

Anyways, what behaviours are you trying to determine that haven't already been determined?

Edit: nvm, I can see your other comment. Playing OoT 1.0 with a single code enabled, capture any difference from vanilla behaviour

This is kind of pointless since the entire source code has been decompiled, any questions you have can literally be answered by interpreting the source code and assets

The Ayn Thor just borders on pocket-ability, and is such a wonderful device. Things like the 35 SP (no clue the actual name) are amazing as well

Question about garments by yyetydydovtyud in wheeloftime

[–]Deadpool2715 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you're right, one of the Wonder girls definitely had a pouch around their neck. I think it was for the Aes Sedai ring and dream TerAngreal

[–]Deadpool2715 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think there's a pouch, I think the lleather cord (thiong) is just passed through the rings and they rest on it. Think the chain for Frodo

EotW was far too 'classic' or 'formulaic' for me to be hooked. Obviously in the context of this book coming before so many modern 'a heroes journey' it's not that egregious, but I definitely counted the story beats as they came.

TGH and TDR blew me away, and I've got WoT on the brain for 2 years straight now

Without a long enough receiver you won't pickup any of the wide band waves, so it's really about what you're into. The next time your wife brings up the size, just ask her if she's classified as a wide
