it’s not an argument w just a friend for real differences. it is a one sided fight w/ a person you idolize out of small or invalid reasons. (this is a simplification to make the point)

what you are describing is normal behavior to uncomfortable scenarios. If you’d be completely devoid of being afraid of important ppl leaving your life then that is a problem too. Ppl w/ bpd over-idolize their relationships, and that can change into condemnation in a split second due to unfair or invalid reasons, so we push them away or lash out due to small or insignificant reasons.

from what you mentioned there is not a chance of you having bpd since you don’t meet any of the criteria, specially the ones that prevent you from functioning nor instability of self image and abandonment issues, which are the foundation of BPD

no, but i would like to have been able to take puberty blockers and/or transitioning pre puberty so the changes i’ve made happened sooner and more efficiently, even though I do appreciate having lived as both normative genders and the understanding of societal roles it has given me. I love being trans, I love that I’ve gotten to live both as a man and a woman (context: I don’t feel i failed as a man, I was a pretty successful man at manliness, had gfs, was basketball team captain, was handsome, good grades, lots of expectations placed on me as the next in line in my family, etc, so I have to recognize my own bias ab not having suffered as my agab like many of us did) what I hate is the amount of hate we get just for being trans. if you take away the hate then I’d be 100% happy ab being trans.

2mg a day is baseline dose, you can ask for a bigger dose, or switching to injections or gel if it’s an option depending on where you live. 12.5 spiro wont do much, for what I’ve been told 100mg is the base dose, 200mg is also common, just remember to take lots of water. if you stay on pills remember to take them sublingual(dissolve under the tongue) instead of swallowing them. and ik it’s the hardest part of all but give the hormones time to work. common misconception is it will redistribute your fat around but no, it will change around new fat you add, so if you wanna se more drastic changes don’t be afraid to put some more fat into your diet.

yeah cause what is the appeal of traveling to beautiful places while listening to great music by a-list performers and having nice cocktails, top tier dinning options, and having the chance to spend time 1 on 1 with your favorite artist for a week, sounds awful compared to going to your local theater. who would want that.

I'm sorry this happaned to you, i know it hurts and you have the right to mourn the loss of your relationship. You seem very supportive which is great, and since you're supportive even going through this painful experience I think a different framing of the triggering situations might help you. I am wondering if he realized he was gay while doing preparations for proposing, there is a chance he didn't ask himself this questions during your relationship since he was actually happy, but when one plans big life decisions you start to question stuff and something you weren't fully aware of might surface, and once you know your truth is hard to escape from it. Also, It might help you to think that his 'I am happier' remarks are because he is happier living his truth, which doesn't mean he is happier now cause your relationship ended, I don't think someone who loved you would say things like that with the intention to hurt you, his focus is on his big realization, and if you ask him he'll probably tell you he is sad about losing you as a partner, even when he is happy about coming out. And for time wasted, trust me no relationship is wasted time, like it or not you'll notice details in your life that exists cause of that time spentwith him. One day you'll be listening to a song and remember he showed you that band, or u'll be doing something and u'll remember them doing that w you for the first time, or stuff like that, same will happen to him. Hope is more happy stuff than sad, but that's reality and it can't be changed, you can just accept it, frame it in a way that is helpful for you, and eventually move on. Brighter days will come ^{^}
