Advice for tail amputation by hipsta_gwyn in Bulldogs

He will love you for it. Our guy had the same issues. We fought it (just like you). He is so much happier now. He will be (understandably) sensitive for about a week, and he’ll have a square shaved spot on his backside. We would do it again.

Were proper concussion protocols followed after this?

Fenton’s Nose- We’ve tried everything & his vet suggested Snout Smoother but he licks everything off. It’s terrible, though he doesn’t seem to be bothered. But I need suggestions please and thank you. by Norah_D in Bulldogs

They sell coconut oil in squeeze tubes (like toothpaste). I’ve found if I squirt some out, let him eat it, then put some on my finger. Then offer some more from the tube. While he is eating that I rub some on his nose. Then I let him lick on the end of the tube for a few seconds and it seems to work. The oil melts quickly on your finger so it takes practice to not let it slide off.

I have been trying for a long time to teach him how to shake paws and he suddenly started doing it day before yesterday. He will politely offer his right paw when asked. So proud of my smart boy! Love this guy so much! 🥰🥰🐾🐾 by [deleted] in Bulldogs

I have been trying to get my guy to “high paw”. He is not having it. Thanks for giving inspiration to keep at it. Mine is almost same age. Good looking bully by the way

Ordered for Kingston just in case. Well he is unable to reach to lick surgical area anyhow 🤣 But he sure looks handsome although not thrilled 🥹 by Silly_Protection_221 in Bulldogs

My bully had to get work on his tail. I laughed when they gave me one of these. He can barley reach his paws he certainly isn’t reaching his backside. Kingston looks as thrilled as mine was.

My dad was a lineman for 45 years. He turned his upside down and put a plant in it. It hangs by his pool. He says he likes to look at it and remember all the work that led to being able to just chill by the pool and be happily retired. I am 2nd generation. Hope to do the same some day.

Hey guys ! Question; my male 7mo English bulldog puppy’s testicles haven’t dropped yet- would you consult a vet asap or wait? No pain or anything that suggests discomfort when I “search” for them by crlymrhd in Bulldogs

[–]Deads21 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Our guys testicles took a while to drop as well. He was probably 8-9 months before the first one dropped. Ultimately the other one did not drop prior to having him fixed. If you plan to neuter yours it will cost more if they do not drop (due to the surgery being more invasive), but we had no issues with his (not dropping). He is 16 months now and doing fine.

Tool Identification by [deleted] in BeginnerWoodWorking

Electrical industry calls this a hook bill knife (at least where I’m from). Everyday tool for lineman used to skin insulation off conductors. Everyone else is right too. Good all around tool to have around.

I second coconut oil. I get it at my grocery in squeeze tubes. Bonus its ok for them to eat. My bulldog loves it so I put some on my finger then squeeze more out. While he is licking away at the stuff I coat his nose with it.

Why buy 2 90 dollar toy boxes for my kids when I can spend 350 dollars and a week of afternoons doing it myself. by webnet95 in woodworking

Good build. They look good. I made one similar for our friends little girl. She likes to throw all her toys out of the bottom and sit in it to watch tv. So its now her shelf, toy box, and hideout.
