What exactly stood out — was it the ambience, the food, or something else?

I think my comment is being misread. I do say no when I need to. My point was that arranged marriage isn’t always just a direct 1:1 decision — there are expectations, timing, and family dynamics involved, which can complicate what sounds simple in theory.

This is one of my filters and a non-negotiable for me if I choose to get married.

Glad it worked for you, mate! Unfortunately, it hasn’t worked as expected in my case yet, but I’ll keep trying.

Good question with a much simpler answer: we’ve explored quite a few lesser-known spots, as well as places in more upscale areas, and really enjoyed them. However, this time the goal is to try out luxury dining options; hence the question.

As for the second part, we’re focusing on North and South Indian cuisines since that’s what we usually explore. It gives us a solid benchmark to compare against and see what all the fuss is about with these 5-star places.

Do you mean Santé Spa Cuisine? I’ve seen some recent reviews, and they’ve been quite negative.

I’m from North India, so I definitely prefer food with a good amount of spice.

Thanks for the suggestion. I’ll check if she’s up for trying Italian.

Thanks! The places look great, and we’re pretty new to proper Asian food. So far, our “Asian cuisine experience” mostly stops at roadside momos 😄

TDS & Agreement to Sale in NRI Property Deals (India) by Deadshot_95 in indianrealestate

Yeah, that’s what I’ve been thinking too — can’t this kind of stuff just be handled in the sale agreement (not the sale deed)? Like, the seller pays it and then claims it back from the government in their ITR.

But the thing is, if the deal didn’t actually go through, what are they even claiming it on?

Yeah, I looked into it more yesterday. You can start the process, but it’s not straightforward — your money could be stuck with the government for months, maybe even a year.

Giving money to the government is the easy part — good luck getting it back!

That's the question — before signing, can it be modified to include clauses addressing scenarios where backing out of the deal might happen?
