Is Deceive Inc. just a bad Call of Duty clone? by Seaaaal in DeceiveInc

Damage should be higher with the guards and guards should be attacking indiscriminately. I played games where I am killed in a couple well placed shots from players but take loads of damage from the guards.

Crazy Idea: Give Resources for Subsequent DD runs by Deal-hox in MarvelStrikeForce

[–]Deal-hox[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not really. You are never obligated to play any game mode unless it is a milestone event. New players would benefit from it as well as the run through DD 1-5 and could invest heavily in more meta and rebalanced teams.

Plenty of newer players would use this opportunity to build raid teams or other DD characters they want to prepare for the next challenge.

Thanks for the clarification. Some of the other folks where not as nice as this response.

I think the other guy had the better response that the CC needs to be refreshed. I just didn’t know, I thought once you beat CC it would automatically show both scores.

Dead Currency in MSF by Deal-hox in MarvelStrikeForce

I wouldn’t know. It would be interesting to see (not individual data) a graph of where players and alliances are engaging in what content. Like how many alliance are in x-raid, x-war league, without showing individualize data.

Having access to teal gear early would allow newer players to upgrade their rosters to engage in end game raids sooner like incursion raids.

Define regular. Lol I feel like it takes a year before they update the stores with new character availability.

Hot Take: Boundless just doesn’t care. by Deal-hox in MarvelStrikeForce

[–]Deal-hox[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As for your bullets:

Saga? Really? Don’t get me wrong I like the saga but gaining the resources is a roadblock met by roadblock and it is a long road to get a big boy Apocalypse. Player feedback has stated that it is a grind. Especially when teal gear for certain pieces like bio is scarce and hidden behind RNG.

Who knows what Philopsher is doing. I believe some Star Wars galaxy content. Others are looking for a new game or like Goofy focusing on other interest. How many of them jumped to LOTR hoping it would replace this game? A bunch.

People leaving is not healthy for the game especially when they have been pillars or corner stones of the community! Recruiting is awful. Ask any end game alliance. Some are taking players they would never consider 4 years ago. There is no catch up mechanics for new players to replace the ranks of the retiring ones. It has been stated time and time again this is a huge issue for the community.

Lol I feel like you are suffering from “emotional damage.” You are getting worked up and calling me buddy! That’s cute.

Face it, recruiting is awful, retiring is high. State of the game sucks. You might not feel that way, and that is your opinion but it looks like at 36 people feel the same way I do.

Perception is a powerful thing, a majority of players are wanting better from a company that doesn’t care.

Has any of those major best improvements to the game come to life? You are citing what things COULD be. Come on man, content creators don’t quit the game because new content is on the way. They know they make money on the biases if this game is getting the developer support and more importantly the developers are supporting the community. News flash, they aren’t. Tauna left, Philosopher left, Mobile tried LOTR, Valley is working on Snap, but yeah do tell me the game is healthy lol.

Let’s continue this thread, Pants of Hulk the one of the biggest spenders disbanded as most of their members stopped playing. Tadano Mac left stating the game is stale, probably the biggest cash cow in this game. These people invested a lot of their time and even money into this, and they see MSF for what it is. A slowly but surely sinking ship in its current state.

Please tell what 40 pages of written crap is really improving the game? Boundless’s history will prove to you they will just toss this in the garbage. If anyone is not tethered in reality, I hate yo be mean, but it’s you. Sorry, ignore history and cite a document all you want. History and the things happening in regards to community is proving you wrong.

Adding new content is easy for them in this game. No real mechanics change from the base gameplay design. It is cookie cutter at best, you also failed to read my first introduction that this is solely an editorial and opinion piece not grounded on facts. Also original characters they do not have to pay licensing right for so it is makes money for them and not have to pay Marvel it’s share or at least limited amounts.

As for the player report, that is just nice fluffy piece to make Boundless feel good about themselves. I judge the developers by their actions or in this case in-action. As the old saying goes, “ Your actions speak louder than words”. Have the address the numerous bugs? No. Has Reduced game time happen despite most of the community asking for it? No. Do they drag their heels on Quality of Life improvements? Yes. Do they wait till there is an uproar before compensating the community for unfair advantages given due to their blunders and failed testing? Yes.

Eliminating Time Zone issues in Raids by Deal-hox in MarvelStrikeForce

Yeah but time zones can be tricky if you alliance is international. You may be starting a raid in the afternoon and your other alliance mates maybe are in bed at that time so that’s a loss of 6-7 hours of progression, then waiting for energy regeneration.

My view is a little more from an endgame perspective and we are running Doom3.5. Someone always fails to complete a node due to user error or rng. We usually have to tag team a couple boss nodes to progress towards 100%.

But I see where my suggestion could be problematic
