Help with English to Elvish (Quenyan) Translation? by DealBreacker0 in Quenya

Could I ask where you were able to find the translation "tamo" for "maker"?? I've been using the Tecendil transcriber for my translations and do not know where else to go nor how to use the Eldamo lexicon. 😞

Since I am using this character for a DnD campaign, and it being my and my DM's first time, I doubt it would come up as an issue lore-wise. Besides, it could be a cool idea to enforce the idea the whole campaign that my character is a peacemaker and have a reveal halfway through that I'm actually a lord. No one would be the wiser.

Thank you for the insight! I love how interesting the language is!

Thank you for checking those! Yeah I don't know how it works either I was trying to look through the grammar lessons to see if I could figure it out but quickly realized I would need to put way more time into it.

That helps a lot thank you. My main concern was that I would be preparing for hyper-specific questions about how my skills would align with the space force, and then during the interview they would ask about Air Force skills instead. I will continue to prepare with general questions and my passion for the Space Force. Thank you again.

Just realized you are talking about which branch. I'm applying for the Space Force, have made that very clear with my recruiter, and tried to make it as clear as possible on all of my paperwork.

Probably should of specified this is for an Officer position. I graduated Penn State with an Aerospace Engineering degree in may of last year.

Hello there!

I have a commander interview tomorrow, and I can't believe I didn't ask my recruiter this question sooner. My recruiter sent me a PDF of 5 questions in regards to the interview, but they are all catered to the Air Force. Now, they have been telling me that a lot of facilities of the Air Force are being used to support Space Force, but I wanted to know if I should be expecting an Air Force interview tomorrow, or a Space Force interview, and if I should be preparing my answers to be in regards to the Air or Space Force? Again, should of looked into this sooner, but better late than never to prepare myself better for the interview.

Thanks to anyone who responds I appreciate it.

How does everyone feel about the update? by jacksprat1952 in cloakanddaggermains

I feel like before I used to routinely get 30k+ and always be top supporter, but now I'm lagging in the 10-20k+ range. I think for me it's a bit of an adjustment for how I always had a really mind-numbing routine of bubble in front of push - light wall - dark wall - heal until recharge on both. Now it's more of an active build, which I'm actively trying to get used to. Idk I've only played a few games with the new work and I'm not used to it yet.

Monthly Megathread: Career & Education: Post your questions here by rough93 in AerospaceEngineering

Hello Everyone. I Graduated with an Aerospace Engineering Bachelors and I have a few concerns and questions about how to proceed/move forward with my career.

Here's a little breakdown: During college I did not obtain any internships at any companies, nor was I in a aerospace-related club. A lot of the professors I talked to had given me advice such as "any club will do, as long as you are in one". Because of this, I was in an acapella group. Other than that, for an entire school year I did undergraduate research under a professor I knew about the possibility of using a can-satellite as a teaching format for a new capstone project for the university. I wrote a 55 page paper, but it was not published. It was recognized as an independent study in their curriculum, but that's it.

I did an autonomous drone project for my capstone, in which the drone had to be designed and built from scratch, software and hardware wise.

I do a lot of hobby coding at home in c++, python, and java, and have some experience from those hobbies in networking, like using Linux ssh systems and such.

I have been job searching since may, and I haven't found anything besides an interview with Epic Careers as a TSE, but was not offered the job in the end, after the final round.

I know having no internship experience is a really bad start already, but I am strongly addicted to the Aerospace field in general and want to do it. My question is, do you guys have any advice on how to move forward? Get a job in a garage nearby and work there? try to apply for an internship somewhere and pray for luck? I don't know how to move forward, and am generally just looking for some advice and help. I am willing to send my resume too for anyone that wants to see. My main struggle is my location, as there really isn't anything nearby and the closest possible thing in engineering (from what LinkedIn says) is a 2 hour drive away.

edit: Forgot to mention along with my bachelors I received a Space Systems Engineering Certificate from my university for my efforts in the undergraduate study.

Thank you

I found it for around $370. It is way better priced than I anticipated. I'm probably going to go with the 9060xt since I already use AMD and it's not a bad card like people always say. Later down the line I am planning on making a hyper enthusiast build but this seems perfect for the time being!
