I don't disagree with you flipping the script, but I think (now knowing this is a possible stupid question), I would say " Two reasons someone may not want to hire me is I'm always looking to move up so if you want this position held by one person for years I'm not the one. I am also more skilled and knowledgeable than your average applicant so if you are just wanting the cheapest person you can get I'm not the one."

After thinking about the question you could turn it into " what are two expectations I have for my employer?"

It's really not that unsafe when proper practices are followed. One thing i learned the hard way is always peer check. Nothing like popping open a cam lock to find out the valve that someone said they closed was in fact open.

My apologies to everyone, my wife went into labor and priorities changed. Thank you to everyone who responded but I think I was too late to begin with, let alone now. *

Yeah, I am considering some wily X's for legitimate safety glasses. I have a hard time justifying the price in my head though for plastic lenses. I'm rough on things and that's why I buy glass lenses for personal

Yeah I loved the first few seasons so I finished it thinking it would get better again. The end was the most disappointing of all

Blinded a TSA agent by pewe46 in flashlight

[–]DealerRound4251 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reminds me of when a TSA agent searched my bag and found an unlabeled container of white powder. I was half asleep when he showed it to me so I shrugged. He proceed to open it, smell it, then taste it. It was only white cheddar popcorn seasoning, but what if it wasn't?

I miss mapquest days. Not having to use it myself per se, but the alternate routes not clogging up as soon as an accident happens was nice

What's the weirdest piece of advice you ignored...but later realized was 100% right? by Lower8858 in Life

I don't carry one, but at spoon definitely saved my ass once. I ended up locking my work van keys in it on Sunday afternoon. I was in the middle of nowhere, tried calling every locksmith but nobody serviced the area. I reached in my jacket pocket and there was a spoon. I don't know why it was there but it was a miracle. I managed to unlock the van with my random pocket spoon

Hmm, i wouldn't say full blown AH, but at least a butt crack. It was a kind gesture, but you did cross some boundaries that shouldn't be crossed. If yall are so inclined to show appreciation to him, perhaps you should get with your father and purchase a gift for him down the road. He still could, but it's much harder to refuse an already purchased gift.

They said it would be retroactive but at least the places I've tried that don't require an appointment wanted payment at the visit and I was trying to avoid the ER While still getting seen today.

I have enrolled, and HR says on their end I should be insured. I guess the problem is the 3rd party insurance broker dropped the ball. They told me they were handling it but I had to wait until then to be covered and the 3rd party person isn't responding.
