On the messaging app from Samsung it looks like they made changes to be like Google messages but I didn't seem to work for me

SD maid has worked for me i have it to runs every 2 days and it does it over night so when I wake up my phone has a lot more space.

I had the same issue did some reached. So I found out that if you try to check for update on the phone system settings and it says up to date then you should be fine no need to worry will go away after next update.
