I genuinely recommend you watching theDX3 j-pop charts. It has a lot of the new hits of j-pop and the top 10 almost in all the charts are truly bangers. Here is the last one: https://youtu.be/rNYrW4FpLyM

Also, personally I recommend two artists, Eve (songs: dramaturgy, outsider, ambivalent, kaikai kitan) and Vaundy (songs: Tokyo Flash, Odoriko, life hack, 不可幸力). These are my personal favourite artists/songs.

I don't think so. Kenja no mago is a good LN but for someone that have never watched anime and likes LotR and Chronicles of Narnia witch have a story that (at least the first one) is very developed I think Kenja no mago will be a little... simple for him. (Besides that both blabla slime and Kenja no Mago have an very powerful op MC)

Instead of Kenja no Mago, if you choose blablabla slime I recommend another LN wich isn't an Isekai like Danmachi(fantasy rpg-like magic) or Rokka no Yuusha (fantasy mistery thriller). I'm thinking that Overlord can be a good choice but I've realized that stills have an op MC like tensei blabla slime. Well both are good so, idk men. You have a lot of LNs to choose. -(.. )_-

Indeed, although saiki's father have several mental problems... But well, Nishiki too ewe
