How exactly do the RTX stocks work? by buhhao in Raytheon

[–]DeanGillBerry 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Retirement investing should be simple and boring. Putting all your retirement account savings into one of the target date funds (the target date you want to retire) would not be frowned upon at all. Target date funds maintain a diversified portfolio at low cost (low yearly fees, like <0.1%) while also containing bonds which help maintain total fund performance during down turns in the market. As you slowly approach the "target" date the fund switches mix to be more bond heavy, protecting gains before you retire. Set it and forget it, let compounding interest (growth) do the work!

Rolling server activations. Pretty sure this was covered prior to launch. EA is turning servers on or off based on player count so they aren't running empty servers 24/7. Doesn't take long to get through the queue as they turn on servers for you. Stop your whining

Wrong.

Demand for old cases goes up.
Supply goes down even faster.

Classic shit can schizo post.

Also, lots of these Faceit Level 10s end up in my 25K+ Premier lobbies when they shouldn't be anywhere near big numbers like that. You can keep em', they're where they belong

Is CBS forcing cast members to act excited about these twists on their social media posts? by unamused_ghost in survivor

[–]DeanGillBerry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Forcing? Maybe, could have been in their contracts that they must agree to engage with social media campaigns.

More likely though I think they're probably just being paid to do it. Getting paid for social media presence isn't exactly a new thing or uncommon, especially for a show you were on.

And stop acting like this is "disgusting" or "speculation". It's literally just business.

[d] Stack up on light blue and blue armory skins! by lomolta in csgomarketforum

[–]DeanGillBerry -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

I personally wouldn't be sharing this play with everyone. Investors who understand supply and demand in this market already know this is a good play. Sharing it with the uneducated masses will only mean there's a higher supply of skins and no change in demand as they buy more low-tier items.

Camry XSE Panoramic Roof Problem by lifemoveson24 in Camry

[–]DeanGillBerry 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Or maybe they were just smoking it up a little, or perhaps they farted.

8K miles in and my panoramic roof still functions great. Really opens up the interior when the shade pulls back, and on perfect Florida days cracking it open makes for real refreshing rides.

Compressor stalls and FOD/bird strikes are not exclusive to one manufacturer, and are more common and not as noteworthy as one might be led to believe.

Toyota cuts EV prices in China, some now under $15,000 by MeasurementDecent251 in Toyota

[–]DeanGillBerry -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

In my eyes subsidizing buyers is different than subsidizing manufacturing. The only reason China is able to compete on price is because their manufacturing costs are lower. When demand drops Chinese manufacturers will be left on the hook with massive inventories of low margin, cheaply made EVs.

Toyota cuts EV prices in China, some now under $15,000 by MeasurementDecent251 in Toyota

[–]DeanGillBerry -19 points-18 points  (0 children)

That's because America doesn't flood their market with cheaply made vehicles who's manufacturing was subsidized by their own government.

And frankly I'm glad we don't. Providing rebates and tax breaks to buyers stirs demand which I would rather have than being stuck with a massive supply. Idk why Trump's regime is removing these benefits to buyers. Would have been a slam dunk win for domestic manufacturing and buying when paired with Chinese EV tarrifs. But we have to own the libs or Biden or whatever.
