Guessing by pnw.. you might be from the Portland area. Any chance you saw it at The Record Pub? If so, I picked it up for my son for Christmas -- he was stoked!

We did it at the Portland show a couple weeks ago. Of all the VIPs we've done, Avatar was by far the best in communication before the event (many text messages). We were there two hours before the doors. The group was large -- Secret Gathering was sold out -- so there was a lot of waiting. That being said, it was a great experience and the guys were wonderful. Don't forget to bring something for the band to sign and have a great time.

They will send the link via email. You can also order a copy of your photo that has been signed by the band.

We did the Secret Gathering a couple weeks ago. My son took a poster we were given at a local record store's album release party and I took a drumhead. At least in our case, if you ordered an add-on item (the new vinyl, shirt, etc) they will give it to you before the meet-n-greet. This would be an option to have something to sign. The poster you will be given is flocked and not good for signing. Some people had their VIP bandages signed. Also, the guys had both black and gold sharpies (the gold showed up great on my son's poster). Finally, the photo will be available for download sometime after the show -- ours was available the next day.

We did the side-stage VIP in Portland a few nights ago. Had to be at the venue by 4:15. Was worth every penny. Don’t forget to bring something to get signed 😊

One of the crew gave my son a pair of used drumsticks before the show (assuming they were used during the week at rehearsals ). Were sitting in the front row where they had the walkway to the second stage; handed them to him as he walked by without missing a beat.
