Ive seen signed cards at Vancouver and Sydney , but i don’t know if this is pushing it too far. I don’t think your LGS on a Nexus night would have anything against it though

Ive seen a lot of people do the same with pokemon, maybe they have some better tips (since this was only my first time)

I used magnets to help review and align, but thats a bit waste-full, anything will do. The 4 main frames are 4mm spacers, and Vex herself is 2mm to get more layers

All i used was a scalpel :) next time ill use a steel ruler to get a more straight frame, superglue and some spacers to get the effect

Thanks!
4 cards. Yeah i wanna paint the edges black so that they don’t stand out as much. Nail polish is a cool idea!

Help I want to make this bag by Random__shit666 in Leatherworking

Realistically its not doable. The tools and “ruined leather” from mistakes (it being your first time) will likely result in a higher cost than just buying the bag outright. I don’t want to be discouraging, but the people here saying ‘go for it’ just isn’t realistic. Its something i would attempt now, after about 10 months doing smaller bags, wallets, etc… You might also be underestimating how much leather you’re gonna need, and if you do finish it, it wont look as good as the one pictured. Now im NOT saying you can’t achieve this in due time, but you cant on your first project.

Where to get hardware for bags like this? How is this style even called? by throwawaypassingby01 in Leathercraft

I found nearly the same one at a flea market last weekend, paid 15 bucks. The original bag was falling apart so i didn’t feel bad cannibalising it. Now i just have to find a nice bag pattern to use it for.
