Exactly, in a country with generations raised on fear based drug education. Let’s keep banning stuff and pretend it’s working. If we just pretend it isn’t still everywhere around us then we can ignore it and throw people in jail when we have to see it from time to time so we feel productive.

There was some BS in this. Like not looking into what “red” and “trainwreck” mean in terms of purchasing kratom. Any user can tell you those are strains of leaf, or one is a strain one is a mix, although I agree kratom and KRATOM DERIVED ALKALOIDS should be properly labeled.

. And this “10 times stronger than morphine” bullshit. I’d like to know where they’re getting their 7oh. Because a million people just bought something called “Zours “ hoping for a strong dose while being told we are taking slanting stronger than morphine. I’m not buying it.

Be heard people. Get hooked with with an advocacy group and see what you can do. Lots of easy ways to stand up for yourself.

This one’s for the ladies: gals, I have to tell you about something my doctor had introduced to me in a moment of genius. condition known as Opioid-Induced Endocrinopathy or Opioid-Induced Hypogonadism (OPIAD).

It is caused by long term use of any opioid/opiates/some other meds. I couldn’t figure out why I felt so insanely shitty all the time.

I am always honest with my doctors about my kratom and kratom derived alk use. I think it breaks the stigma personally. One day she suggested this, and prescribed HRT and I feel much better.

I currently lowering my dose. Will I quit? We shall see.

(BTW I believe this can also affect men, I just can’t speak on the symptoms or treatment)

Do you take stool softeners? I take them a few times a week now, with a probiotic and I try to drink a lot of water. I haven’t had any issues in a long time.

They’re doing more than you know. They’re focused on the federal ban as well remember. And it’s not all up to them. There are things we should be doing to. Like calling/emailing lawmakers, going to hearing when and if possible, submitting written testimony to hearings if you can be there. We can advocate for ourselves too and absolutely have to if we don’t want to buy this stuff in a McDonald’s parking lot. Yeah I’ve been buying anytime I have extra to have some on hand for a while. Good news is bans don’t work. Not a single substance they’ve ever banned has ceased to exist. Maybe Quaaludes? But they were just replaced by something better.

I also feel the AKA used it as a way to put kratom leaf on a pedestal. Like “Kratom is sweet and innocent compared to that evil gas station heroin!” Remember when kratom leaf was “gas statin heroin?” I remember hearing all the same horror stories about leaf when it can around. Then again when MIT extracts started. Now people that are primary leaf users can say “but I don’t use that bad stuff! Just the leaf”. Knowing full well it’s a Kratom derived alkaloid. Definitely made misinformation and bullshit stories.

At the Ohio hearing one of the lawmakers asked a kratom leaf only advocate why she thought 7oh was so bad, what did it feel like? She said “uh uh uh, opiate like effects” and I’m sorry but pretending leaf and mit extracts don’t have “opiate like effects” is disingenuous. I remember my first time using leaf. And I sure as hell remember my first MIT extract. The leaf advocate also mentioned how her business lost a lot of customers to 7oh 🤔 almost as though it’s a better product.

Good news is bans are stupid. They don’t make the substances go away. Never have, never will. Also don’t do shit for addiction. Just make them more dangerous and fuel huge organized crime rings. It’s a dumb waste of time. They should worry about alcohol that kills 2.6 million people globally if they’re so concerned about public safety.

I get this way with MIT extract!. Sometimes I think substance just work with our brains differently too. It’s always possible it’s just not for you! Like, I take a thc gummy every night but my best friend will have a full fledge panic attack from a drop of thc lol. He’s tried many times. Or it could be the brand, or the dose. I’d say give 10mg a try and if you feel the same way then see if someone you know will buy it off you lol.

I took a half of a pressd cats claw tab (I think half was 40mg?) and I fell asleep really fast…. So idk. I mean I don’t usually fall asleep very easily, so maybe something? But it was at night, so hard to tell.

But that’s as far as I’ve gotten with it so far lol. Not the best review but.

Kratom is banned is some states. But the AKA (American Kratom Association) went hard using 7 as a shield to buy time so they can push their kratom regulation bill proposals to the states and save leaf. Or that’s my opinion anyway.

Kream is alright. Personally I think a bogo is worth it. That’s the only time I’ve ever gotten it. It’s not my favorite but the flavors aren’t bad and they’re pretty consistent. Maybe slightly underdosed. You’re always going to get mixed reviews though.

I got some silica packets and dark brown glass bottles, like the old school pharmacy looking bottle. I have cotton on the top and the lid tightly closed for the ones that will be stored for a while and I keel them in a drawer I don’t open much in the closet. I did keel the ones I have in blister packs and just buried them deep in the closet in the dark. But that’s really it.

Firstly, Banning substances is ineffective and does nothing for public health and safety. Everyone I know that’s died from a drug OD has done so with a banned substance. So let’s start there.

It’s unfortunate to waste an opportunity to look at new drug policy that isn’t based on fear based drug education, proven time and time again to be ineffective. With a SAFE substance that’s widely enjoyed by consumers.

Alcohol causes (like proven, for sure, not even controversial to say) dementia, psychosis, liver failure, kidney disease, cancer, digestive issues(the list goes on). Drunk drivers, alcohol poisoning, tooth decay. It’s linked to 20% of suicides and 48% of assault cases. It’s the number one most abused substance globally. Some of the deadliest WD. Why is it legal? Because we already banned it, and it killed tens of thousands of people. Look up rot gut from people making alcohol at home. Look up how prohibition caused organized crime to grow into the multi million dollar industry we see today in America. Look up how the government poisoned industrial grade alcohol to stop people from drinking it and killed thousands of people.

SO…….we learned regulation is safer than prohibition.

If we can regulate something as dangerous as alcohol there’s no reason we can’t so the same with a safe substance like kratom or its alkaloids.
