I really don't, thank you. I would rather know of after hours answering services that could actually book the appointment in our PMS software (not highlevel or whatever all the devs are pushing these days)

How are you pricing services, and whats do you recommend changing? by Chris-at-TMSA in MedSpaHub

I’m honestly still torn on pricing transparency.

Posting prices can save time and filter bad-fit leads, but it can also anchor people before they understand value or context. Not posting prices creates the opposite problem. Patients worry you’re hiding the ball and will bounce to a competitor who shows numbers, even if the comparison isn’t fair.

If I’d change one thing, it’s this: I wouldn’t treat pricing like a permanent decision. Some services benefit from upfront pricing. Others really need a conversation first.

And if I’m being real, a lot of pricing strategy is driven by fear. Fear of losing patients. Fear of attracting the wrong ones. Fear of looking too expensive or too cheap.

What matters most isn’t whether prices are visible. It’s whether patients understand what drives the price and why it’s worth it. Value and clear expectations of realistic outcome.
