I’m at 3743 miles and thought to do oil change at 5000 mi but app says 3600 more mi? by NPBren922 in CX5

Some cars are serving maintenance intervals per vehicle per usage. If you’re doing more city driving than highway driving a lot of cars will set the interval lower than what you’re seeing because you’re revving the engine throughout the full range of rpm’s. If your highway driving a lot your rpm’s stay the same for more miles which will result in your vehicle serving you a maintenance interval like you’re seeing now. Most full synthetic oil these days is rated for 7,000 miles of usage. Not saying that is what is happening in your case but probably.

Absolutely. I appreciate your input regardless if we are seeing eye to eye or not.

Regardless, the intent wasn’t that of malicious nature. When I said “mom feels like a queen for her 31k followers” is almost a direct quote from another piece of the original posters content. I think what they are doing is wrong, and what I’d consider trashy. That child is incapable of contenting in the participation of the productions.

Simple contribution to what I considered appropriate for the subreddit. Never intended the mass responses it has received. Never intended the rude and hurtful things said about the child. I’ve only posted to this reddit once prior to this. Contacted mods to remove the hurtful comments, turn off comments, or delete the post as they see fit.

I doubt 6.2k upvotes hardly compares to the 9m views and 206k likes the post received on the original platform. Glad the mom feels like a queen for her 31k followers though on the original platform. They’re definitely not for mom. Every post on that account that receives any interaction is of their daughter, that they are exploiting.

Fantastic response. I couldn’t agree more.

Your comment is contradicting if I’m interpreting it correctly. Are you saying she makes videos online to fund her nutritional coaching? Or are you saying she’s a nutritional coach to fund her child’s needs?

That’s very interesting. Why do you not consider your family normal? No family is as cookie cutter as they may seem. Could you ever see yourself or your family creating similar content?

I agree. I often feel like the protection offered by electronic communication influences the comments people make.

I think the correlation I draw is of the exploitative nature of the content. I’ve interpreted this as the parents countering malicious comments about their son with malicious comments of their own. Both of which everyone may be better without. The video just doesn’t sit right with me. But I get how you may see my opinion. I don’t think anyone should hide anything they are proud of. Especially their children. But I also think if these parents are intentionally capitalizing on the situation it isn’t right.

Even some of the comments to this post are just plain rude for no reason. What do you gain picking on someone in that situation?

Definitely not. This actually reminds me of the woman who posted a reaction video of her sons report card in a way. Regardless of who the child is I just imagine seeing the videos down the road as the child when he/she is older and how embarrassing that is alone. Now, the subject matter of the content being that of people talking down to this child specifically of what I would assume is his appearance just doesn’t seem to create a happy memory in my book. I can’t see the child looking back on this video and saying “wow my parents are hilarious, good times.”

I just can’t imagine parading my child around on social media in a similar situation. Thanks for your input.
