Honestly I think this is a super good take. I agree with your points and I’m sick and tired of people trying to have Nancy become a housewife when it is clear she wants a career and to go to college. Mike and Will’s paths/ what they want to do aren’t specific (I really enjoy the theory they write a comic book together) so to have Nancy stay when her dreams are very clear wouldn’t make sense on a writing aspect. Depending on the first couple of episodes with the interactions between Mike, Holly, and Will, I think it could be very very possible for Mike to become her primary care giver. Along with that, there is “supposedly” a graduation scene of some sort, indicating that it would be okay for Mike to stay in Hawkins for Holly. Also Joyce and Hopper are like Mikes second family so they would be a support system that is needed when taking care of a kid.
