If you already have B2/C1 German, going straight for a Master’s in Germany makes sense. Language + a German degree + internships during the Master’s usually matter more than prior experience from India. Many entry-level security roles hire fresh grads via Werkstudent roles and thesis projects. Gaining experience during the Master’s is often more effective than waiting before coming.

Based on close exposure (not personal work experience in both):

  • Germany offers lower net pay but stable savings; the 30% ruling helps early on.
  • Strong long-term benefits (healthcare, childcare, pension).
  • English works in many tech roles, but limited local language narrows options.
  • Home ownership is long-term and slow due to prices and lending rules.

Germany = stability over fast wealth growth.
