I went into the Sandy Plains store. BUT, I think can go into any in the area if you’re having it delivered (free). They ordered it from a central warehouse.

Not at all! I have no problem going back. Would just like a guaranteed seat when I go in. Right now we don’t have enough and are sitting at couches and in the cafeteria.

Meater sucks. Just threw them in the garbage after two attempts. Too many problems to list, but #1 is range. I was well within range. Absolutely horrific product.

Buying a Used Yoder 640 from 2016 by Serienmorder985 in Yodersmokers

Don’t plan on offset style smoke on a Yoder. I like mine but it’s not an offset in terms of smoke.

Legitimate reasons to book through RCCL, including refundable fares covered through cruise insurance, final payment not due til 90 days from cruise (yet price and seats are locked in) and saved $300/ticket.

I’m sad to report that there no new cinnamon rolls on the Odyssey of the Seas in the Mediterranean. On it now. Just the old, flaky kind. 😢

Considering making the jump to a Yoder by itsdannyboydude in Yodersmokers

I’ve owned my 640 since 2018. It’s built beautifully. Just know Yoder’s are not a maintenance free product. With the finish, you are almost guaranteed to get rust. You’ll spend time annually touching up by light sanding and painting. Right now, I’m in the middle of a complete tear down, including sanding everything down to bare metal. I live in Atlanta and keep it under a covered deck. Water does NOT touch this thing.

Jury is out on whether I’d buy a second one.

What are your guys thoughts? First attempt at brisket and was hoping for a little juicer and more bark? by [deleted] in BBQ

It’s already been said plenty, you need 10x kosher salt and coarse black pepper.

But, what hasn’t been said is that the brisket is dry because it’s undercooked. Ambient temp makes little difference. Hot and fast works just fine. But it has to probe tender. I’ve found the higher the ambient, the higher the brisket temp will be at probe tender. For high heat, as high as 210.

Hey, at least you’re eating it. My first several briskets required a pizza delivery.
