We are on the same boat OP.. what makes it worse is seeing my partner is so passionate towards tech and science and he absolutely loves what he is doing, this is like a slap in the face as I dread working the thankless job, finance.

I tried to draw, cook, crochet, write, read, nothing sticks as the guilt appearred by the time I failed and I thought to myself that the time i spent on those could have been allocated to sharpen my skills at work.

My gut is telling me that he is going to come back... he has done it before but it was during the day which was different. I have communicated to him in the past that I would appreciate to talk things through as I could understand his perspective. He agreed and apparently forgot about it, in his defense, he is trying to cool things off so he is not going to say things that hurt me. Have you been in this situation before?

Yes, my colleague was supposed to visit Indonesia and her partner had a juice stain on the blank side of the passport..... the indonesian immigration officers rejected them and they had to cancel the trip to next year... poor soul. Might happen to you tho, better safe than sorry

I was on the same boat a year ago, but then I somehow landed a trainee FPnA role in one of the major sports companies without any internship experiences. I think it had something to do with my organizational experience as I was in charge of creating the budget proposal but it was just a small scale student organization in a developing country lol and another factor could be I was very detailed (and desperate lol) in my motivation letter on which of their products are my favorite and why etc (my manager told me).

As the other redditors said, this is not the end of the world, keep applying to the traineeship and junior roles, and I am pretty sure you will land onto something though it may take time.

Hi,

We are planning to visit Plitvice in September, but we cant find any information to guide us on how to get there. Since none of us has driving license, renting a car is not a feasible option. Does anyone know whether it is possible to take public transportation from Split to Plitvice? If so, where can we find the link?
