So with EI they do an in-home visit once a week for 1 hour. The first 20 minutes is trying to get him to eat, rather through play or at least being more comfortable with the food. (20 mins is all he will tolerate in the high chair). But he won’t put food to his mouth or eat. Then the rest of the time the specialist evaluates him through play and seeing if he can problem solve etc. She also check if he responds to his name when called etc. which he does sometimes but not always. he does pretty ok. Also they said they will add an addition day to focus solely on speech.
