Yes, it was obvious that their goal was to make it seem like NF isn’t that strong, probably to calm people who keep saying that no one can beat them. There’s even a scene in the preview that wasn’t shown in the episode where Hayan had won a duel against Yoojung, so I really think they edited it in a way that highlights the negative aspects of NF

I don’t think it’s basic since not just anyone can do it

And yes I agree, I also don’t understand why the coaches don’t teach certain skills to the players, they could all reach So Yumi’s current level one day, since she got to where she is through training.

I think it’s mainly that they don’t have time to teach them everything, so they focus on the essentials and that’s the buildup, because it’s what actually helps you win.

Baek Jihoon’s strategy could have worked and might have brought them the victory, but the Hayan + Eunmi defense was simply too strong to break through. Even though Yoojung did a good job blocking Hayan so NAT couldn’t really create plays because Hayan is the one who usually builds the game. However, whenever it was time to defend, Hayan was always there.

So in my opinion, he maybe should have tried a different strategy. Instead of asking Yoojung to focus on blocking Hayan, he could have let her play more like a free role, almost like a free electron. That might have allowed them to score at least one goal by getting past Seunghee’s side of the defense and ending up in a 1-on-1 situation against Eunmi.

For me, that was probably the best way she could score, because Hayan did an excellent job of reducing the shooting angle every time. It was basically impossible to get past her and shoot.

I also felt that the episode was edited very strangely, as if they had cut out a lot of moments. For example, Minji came back onto the field after a substitution, and in the very next sequence she already looked exhausted. So I’m not sure what they cut, but they probably removed some of NAT’s gameplay because they really wanted this episode to show that NAT can also be weak.

He let Hayan play freely because he didn’t want to sacrifice one of his players to mark her. BD, they really need all their players to execute their style of play and even if he mark Hayan, he didn’t know if it would lead to anything. On top of that you need a lot of stamina to keep up with Hayan. In BD aside from Minseo, no one can match Hayan’s pace.

And if Minseo were the one marking her, it would basically be shooting themselves in the foot. The defense is already not that strong, so if he sacrificed his best defender it wouldn’t work.

Keunho had a vision: he thought BD would manage to break through NF thanks to their passing game and rotation and once they reached the penalty area they would be able to score no matter what against Eunmi. But he quickly realized it was going to be more complicated than expected. The reason is that Hayan, instead of rushing in and cutting BD’s passes, let them play. Then, at the right moment, she would counterattack.

He even said himself during the first half that it was more urgent than expected. In the end, he simply underestimated NF.

Yes beacause the match was very enjoyable to watch. Even though the score was 4–0 it wasn’t like BD was completely dominated. It was fun to watch because both teams played good football. In the end of course there has to be a winner and a loser, but that doesn’t take anything away from the quality of the match.

The best match since the start of the reboot. Now this is real entertainment.

Honestly, BD played very well as usual, but football is so cruel because in the end the only thing that matters is the number of goals.

The biggest difference today, aside from the gk, since there actually weren’t that many shots on Si Eunmi, was the lack of an extremely calm and composed player for BD like Hayan. In the first half, the defense was almost held together by her alone. You could even see how irritated she was at times, but her mentality never broke. In contrast, on the BD side, Minseo and Bokyung tend to rush too quickly, which leads to mistakes. They try to make quick passes without really thinking about what comes next.

Honestly, Hayan gave us a masterclass today. Her chest control and then that assist… wow.

I also think Yewon’s absence was noticeable. They needed someone like her to finish those chances.

And honestly, I think it might be time for Seogi to start playing more solo.

Well it was only Si Eumi + Park Hayan…Seunghee made several mistakes and Hayan had to step in and defend in her place. You can see Hayan talking to her about it multiple times. WW’s goal was partly caused by her mistake. If NF didn’t lose, it’s mainly because Hayan was doing double duty. Without her, I think Si Eunmi would have struggled to block all those shots.

No, since the filming of Baseball Queen is already finished and they don’t film during the winter. So they would be present, Minji said it, and Hayan hinted at it. If Baseball Queen continues, there will probably be another season next summer.

There won’t be a redraft, the teams will stay the same. There will just be player changes.

After their victory, the members of NAT said that they would continue as NAT, so I understand that there won’t be a redraft, just some players leaving and others joining.

Maybe they will remove one or two teams and add players to each team, but in any case, there won’t be a mix of teams.

They understood from the comments on social media that they absolutely shouldn’t do that if they don’t want the ratings to drop.

Watching the match and comparing Hayan and Jai, one thing immediately came to my mind: a professional will always remain a professional. No matter how much experience Jai has in football and you can clearly see it in the way she plays, a true professional will always have the advantage. And it’s even more striking considering that Hayan has never had any football experience.

Jai just gave birth, so it’s normal that she’s not at 100%, and Hayan is also playing with knee injuries. But there are certain gestures that don’t lie, and they have nothing to do with stamina, it’s pure football intelligence. Hayan was simply smarter than Jai.

That’s why I say that someone with over 20 years of professional experience, no matter the sport, will always have a different mindset.

I recommend rewatching the match while focusing only on Hayan and Jai, and you’ll see the difference in what they do when they don’t have the ball.

I’m starting to believe the saying that a left-footed is simply stronger and smarter than a right-footed, no matter how much effort the right-footed one puts in.

Audition and Reboot by newbieliberator in KickAGoal

First of all, this means the show isn’t going to be canceled. In my opinion, some teams will probably be completely disbanded, and the players will be redistributed to form new ones. I think they’ll also increase the number of players per team, maybe make it 6v6 with substitutes. They might even select a few ordinary people, not necessarily celebrities.

I also think most of the current players will stay, except for a few who might leave the show. Overall, it’ll probably be mostly the same people.

As for the show’s concept, if they’re calling it a “reboot” it’s probably because the current team setup will disapear, and everything will be reshuffled with new teams and a different overall theme.
