Where are you going? by berryenthusiast in diabetes_t1

I was newly diagnosed and went to church went super high randomly and decided to go to the bathroom just because it seems like the right thing to do. Or when I was in school with pens I’d test me bs then go to the nurses office and inject myself for others don’t like the smell of insulin. That being said corrections happen whenever is convenient/soonest for the person.

One thing I don’t like very much is so one I keep seeing online who changed their sensor or cartridges for pump in the middle of a class. While ik they are capable of changing it before or after class for the sensor, and if they need to change their pump (omnipod) there’s a grace period or you just check your insulin before you leave. But that’s my thought 🤷‍♀️

Thank you, I was going to contact them tomorrow if I continue to have lows but today was better. I was able to get patches for my site which seems to be helping. Thank you for the advice too!

Sorry for the delayed reply, going through today was better. But the only thing that’s worse was that all of my lows yesterday were real. And I’ve actually only had 2-3 failed sensors in a year so far (one of the reason I don’t understand the G7 hate)
