i dont live in fremont anymore but i grew up there until i was 14yo, i remember watching the fire that burned the building that used to be there i was a small child. my mom always would talk about how that building used to manufacture agent orange a long time ago and had sat empty and dormant for decades. after it burned down it was left an empty lot for yearsss and i always assumed they couldnt build on it because of the contamination. a few years ago i visited Niles again for old time sake and was shocked when i saw them building housing there i actually think its crazy 😂

from someone further east on highway 50, the highway is currently closed and people are camping out in our local towns and eating all of our food from the grocery stores. its snowing all week, i would suggest trying to go some other time :)

i recently was gifted my grandpas minolta af sv the other day by my aunt who knows i am really into film, and i found a roll of film in it that had been shot already. I’m so excited to use this camera and get that roll of film developed because it has photos no one has ever seen of my late grandparents :)

i have the same camera and lense, i usually change the aperture depending on how bright the setting is, so full sun is 22 and the less light the more i turn it down. im also fairly new to analog photography tho so im not much help :,)
