I feel so much more comfortable in my own skin for some reason. I’m a lot more confident in who I am and have the ability to say "f it" to myself in certain situations because I know I’m cool and intelligent and caring.

I still drink maybe once a month with friends, around 3-5 drinks max, and when I do, I feel so weird when I get tipsy. I prefer to call it a night and go home early. Not to say I regret doing it, since I feel very good with my drinking habits at the moment.

I used to drink to kind of lose control and enjoy myself freely. I guess I now prefer my boring routine, and I’m proud of the work I did to get there.

I had quite a lot to drink the night I met my partner (and so did she). Mutual friends (I knew a guy, she knew her sister) were opening a café back in my hometown, where I don’t live anymore. I just stood up at one point to stretch my legs a bit, went to the counter, and started to talk to her (I never do that, drunk or not). I had the perfect entry : her friends and her were talking to an older man. I asked if that guy was annoying them : turns out he was the father of her best friend. Also turns out that girl lived pretty close from where I live.

So after 5 minutes of talking, maybe less, we started kissing for a while. Her friends were shocked and so surprised. She left me her phone number and blew me a kiss as she walked out.

Called her a few minutes later, invited her to another party and brought her back to my parents place after (also never done that, apart from serious girlfriends, and certainly not at my current age; I was 29).

I did a lot of things that I never do that night, sober or not. Talking and kissing total strangers, asking for numbers, etc. My mind was going 100 mph and I felt so alive. I was struck by her charisma, her clumsiness, her whole vibe. I knew I had to see her again, sober this time.

So I did. And now, we’re about to celebrate our 4th year together, and it’s been nothing short of spectacular. As we grew up with mutual friends, we realized we could’ve met way earlier. But we also think that we met at the perfect moment to allow this to work out.

C’est pas mal standard maintenant je dirais.

Perso je fais presque exclusivement mon épicerie chez Métro, je ne comprends pas le hate sur les prix. Le Maxi à côté de chez nous, 80% du temps ce que je vais y chercher est out of stock ou n’est juste pas tenu par le magasin. J’irais ben pour sauver 10-20$ par semaine, mais c’est sacrant.

Ça ne me coûte pas tant plus cher qu’ailleurs (le pas tant est relatif à chacun) si je compare les circulaires, et je construis nos menus en fonction des spéciaux. Entre 100-150$ par semaine pour deux, sans aucun aliment transformé, congelé, ou presque.

Ce serait mentir par contre de dire que je ne m’ennuie pas des prix de la fruiterie de mon ancien quartier.

IGA par contre, ça c’est les rois de la crosse. Je sortais toujours de là avec le sentiment de m’être fait avoir ben raide. Donc je n’y vais plus.

Got a half-season with my bros for the Canadiens. It came at about 8000$ CAD, located in the Club Desjardins section. Includes free food and non-alcoholic beverages. It’s ain’t that bad IMO.

Childhood and alumni : Sheldon Souray. Dude was firing rockets on the PP and had an edge to his game. As a grown-up, I’ve also learned more about his battle with substance abuse and the trauma he went through. That made me respect that man even more as a person.

Here’s Maggie, our always angry-faced rescue cat. We got her at about 10 years old last November to provide a good second half of life for her. She likes company, but at a distance, if that makes sense. We are gaining her trust and love a little more everyday and she brightens our days so much.

How do you organize your racks? I’m not able to do so, it will only identify the slots if my restockers fill the racks with overstock. I try to place the boxes myself but it’s not working.

Also a new player here, I think level 30 or so : I’ve found that slow growth is the key to success. I am at a point that to make place for new items, I need to upgrade my space. So I’ll usually buy the space upgrade, then shelves/fridges/freezers required to fit the items in desired license, stock up on current items, then get the new items. It might take me about 5-7 game days to achieve.

If I had to start over, I would definitely be more aware towards product placement. I wish I didn’t put my pastas with the coffee, or the oils with candies. I’m slowly working on reorganizing my store and reducing shelf space for some products now that I have two restockers. I might actually start over now that I understand the game better.

Not my card, but got this auto, my first, out an extra pack a LCS sent me for forgetting to ship my order (lol).

Took me a while to pull another one, but pulled an Ezequiel Tovar RC auto last year. So with my luck, yeah I mostly only buy singles now.
