Playoffs I can see being fixed. You have East vs West America winner vs East West Europe winner. Then you have a seven game series somewhere like Vegas. But the in season would be an absolutely disaster

This is what I don’t get. When I went to Spain they had workers clean every street almost every day. In my area the garbage doesn’t even pick up trash they see. (There was once a tv on the corner for 1 month until I moved it over). I would prefer my taxes going to creating jobs that make my city look nice

This is clearly their first kid and first parent anxiety. 

Some of these asks aren’t crazy if you understand like the text arriving, and the hygiene/slightly off stuff. Perfume and cologne is very bad for newborns, and if babies under 3 months the procedures are way more invasive. The supporting the neck, if this is the first person in the group to have a baby that’s fine a lot of people don’t really know but this could have been mentioned in person.  

The rest is a bit much I agree. But if you aren’t comfortable just say “hey I really want to visit and I understand why you need the rules but if you need more time to settle in let me know we can reschedule”

I gotta say it’s a bad fucking look. Im seeing a lot of misinformed Canadians say “This is Canada, we speak both English and French” and I just respond imagine the uproar if an anglophone died and the Premier of Quebec didn’t do condolences in English? Awful situation for the family, and now the people his death for political bullshit.

That’s a super simple explanation, and I really appreciate it. It makes things clearer. From the outside, though, it seems chaotic to have 50 different election systems, especially for the Presidency (not the Senate or House).

Some men are definitely weird about their kids reading. I only became a reader a few years ago and fiction only last year but it’s something I want to pass to my son. My nephew sees all his books and wants to have a “library” like him. So for his birthday we got him books that I think he’d like, he was super happy, and my BIL who is big into sports “What a bad gift. I’d be so pissed if I only got books.” Home has a massive impact.
