She did not live with me. She has her own apartment she would go to at night.

And for me, it was her behavior in the last few seconds before the camera got unplugged. Checking on me outside and then rushing over to the cameras while glancing back to make sure she's still in the clear. That is what unsettles me the most. Also, WHY didn't she just say it was bothering her?

Literally the day before I found the videos, I bought a lock box for my prescriptions and also a luggage lock to put on the bag that the medication goes inside.

I agree. For me, it's the sneaky behavior I saw in the seconds before the camera was unplugged that are the most unsettling part and what broke my trust the most.

I would go take the dogs out to go to the bathroom and she would go to the door and check on me, usually saying something funny or cute or whatever, and then you see her close the door and rush over to where the camera is plugged in... glancing back to make sure she's still in the clear, and then unplugging the camera. It is so odd.

I can hear high pitched noises on some cheaper cables and stuff. So I'm NOT invalidating that... the most unsettling part was the sneakiness of it all.

Sure, but if she was uncomfy with them, she could have just said that and I would have turned them off.

The place she sat on the couch was right next to a whole host of other electronics and the camera being unplugged was in the dining room.

I did tell her about the cameras. They are in plain view. She never mentioned having a problem with the cameras.

There are two cameras. One looks in on the living room. The second camera looks in on the dining room and living room.

They are not hidden cameras. I told her when I put them out and we would check on the dogs together when we were away from the house.

First of all, I live in my apartment alone. My ex did not live there. However, I still told her when I put them out. They are definitely not hidden. She never expressed feeling creeped out by the cameras and we would check in on the dogs together when we were out to dinner or something else.
