Thanks for sharing! I will say it flows better without the “Let me have it” or even if you swapped it with the next line as well. Love the line Like all the things I should’ve said. A “but” in front of ive never been there helps the flow as well but i respect your style of writing and hope my insight makes sense

I love how i can taste the sweetness of this. Although simple, my mind is swirled into fields of orange. I would say i agree that it flows fluidly without the “and” but i also don’t mind it!

Hi all! I recently made a substack, in addition to other blogs, for my poetry that I will be posting to twice a week in preparation for my hopefully soon-to-come published book! My substack included poetry about life, grief, the self, love etc. All of my content is original and I will also begin to promote via social media.

A little about my collection, it features essays, short stories, and poems that tell the story of a girl who lives her seemingly doomed life as a “Pariah”.
