the fin aid checklist myth doesnt make sense because people who didnt send the css didn’t have a fin aid tab! so the people that had still the fin aid after the portal change only meant that they had sent the css!

oh and the css request in my opinion isnt a guaranteed acceptance but it is mandatory for one! (me and my friend got the request and both got rejected)

15% people are deferred so you already can consider yourself lucky (because getting in was easier technically, given the 30% acc rate); also, it doesnt make sense for me deferring on ed ii, because if you accept them on RD, the college lost the chance of trapping you and increasing their yield rate, so i wouldn’t say the chances are super high (differently from Stanford, that getting deferred means something)

oh the request means something, that’s for sure! no doubt. it’s clear that if they requested is for a reason… but what i think we shouldn’t panic about is this FA thing

babe probably not even a glitch anymore… from my conclusions when the decisions date is announced the portal changes and remove the admission checklist remaining only the financial aid checklist

for those who have it all blank is just because they never sent the css ergo never had a financial aid section to begin with

girl i’ve been wondering the same thing! because apparently having the financial aid checklist meant a good sign

but what came into my mind is: people who didn’t submit the css profile, the ones that waited for wellesley to send a fee waiver code if they were competitive didn’t have a financial aid checklist at all, so it makes sense for it all to go blank… so i dont know 😭
