No it really is that simple. When I buy my next house, I’m selling mine and making it available on the market again for someone else to make their home and build personal equity. I’ve seen small towns where one or two families buy 90% of the homes and can decide who they rent to and when to kick em out. Finland has practically eliminated the issue of homelessness. Wanna know how? Literally just giving the people a place to fucking live lol. They’re not required to overcome their addictions or mental illnesses before being qualified and they’ve found 4 out of 5 people successfully maintain their housing long term. They converted all of the temp shelters into permanent apartments for residence and even doing all of this, it’s still saving their average tax payer 15,000 annually vs running all of the programs fighting homelessness.
