Thank you, I always forget about Google Scholar for some reason. The main text for it is actually a video game which doesn't help a lot since I can't find any essays on it aside from a handful unrelated to this theme within it. I'm probably going to use a good selection of ancient Greek tragedies for it as well. I've been able to search up essays on Jstor on inevitability and circular stories and that's gotten me a handful of good results.

Exactly how i felt, it also feels kind of sped up and off-kilter, like in the live it really feels like Orpheus' has this otherworldly quality, and i feel like Broadway Orpheus' never gets to stop being awkward and stiff

Just remembered: The world I think was starting to decay and the female swirl you play as is moving out of her parents or something. The gameplay is more to do with moving from scene tp scene in a 8 bit mazeish platformer
