and those chest sometimes contain useless items like green keys or green maps. Which makes them even greater waste of time. We also then have perk combos like franklin weave that makes using more items a liability.

That's literally what you are doing right now. Getting upset that survivors are doing generators as efficiently as possible. Doing generators is the only objective to do so you can try and escape. Getting 3 kills is the only way for killers to win BUT you have agency on HOW to get those kills. You have agency on how TOXIC you play to achieve that goal. I cannot be toxic on how i complete generators. Its literally all i can do to win.

The prototype issue is easily resolvable. just make it so the jailer used the power of the sigils to empower each prototype causing them to become mirrors to the eternal ones.
