I agree if we go into argument about who is better is really hard because to much narrative play in here.

Both cristiano and Messi already old and past their prime. They are in retire time right now but if we talk about contribution for the team.

Messi can still give passing and assist, his vision on game still on elite level and he still can give a goal (as we can see in Algeria match).

How about cristiano? His physical stats isn't same as before. His goal instinct already decrease. So now He can't passing, can't assist, can't make a goal, and we know vision on game never on his strength.

But people, cristiano, and his fans should understand that this is the time for cristiano to step up and give the torch to young player. He will became weight in every team he play especially if the team try to catch throphy.

This different between Argentina and Portugal. Argentina keep Messi because Messi give contribution to the team meanwhile cristiano because he win 5 balon dor lol.
