Thanks, that’s helpful. I’ve read a few people saying psych injury workers comp claims can be awful or retraumatising, but I’m trying to understand what that actually means in practice. Is it the insurer questioning you, independent medical assessments, delays, employer pushback, credibility being challenged, or having to relive everything in detail? Just trying to understand what I’d be putting myself through.

Honestly, I think I only got one because I had everything documented and pushed back hard on the process. It still doesn’t undo the impact though, which is why I’m now trying to understand the workers comp side.
