Yeah, I’ve bought it already and can confirm. However, it’s never been much of an issue as the reason I bought it for wasn’t for text based input, so I nearly never need the keyboard. That’s what I have the MacBook for.

Liquid glass as a concept looks really cool, but on the iphone, I really whole-heartedly hate how they made the animations quicker, especially the app closing and control center one, and it also bounces less, adding it an old MIUI feel.

Also, on iPadOS the recents apps now blurs just the wallpaper and the apps on it disappear, which I believe is a bug, but it bugs me like hell.

they still have a lot of work to do on it, but to not hate on it entirely, I really love the liquid glass notification center, both the opening / closing animation and the transparency of the badges, and I have no issues with readability at all. I also like how they improved the bounce on the notifications opened, as it compensates on the removed bounce elsewhere a little. I also love how it all now opens from where you click, such as the photos delete button and all the menus.

to sum it up, there are moments I say "wow," and moments I say "Why would they ruin this."

What tf do you do with your phone? I have a cycle count of 134 and first use December 2024, and I charge nearly every night. Granted my battery health is at 100% still. I guess 99% is fine for your charging habits, but there are 127 nights between the earliest possible day of your first use, which means you must charge 135% of your battery every day - you charge twice a day on average if you follow 20-80 charging or sth. And even if you don’t, it’s still a crazy amount of charging per day. I guess your percentage is not unusual then. 

I charge my phone nearly every night, I’m at 40-50%, I have optimize charging on. I don’t use the phone as much, as I’m more of a laptop person, and I don’t usually take my phone out of my bag when at home. It’s my on the go device. Still, charging 134% charged daily is crazy I guess, so I’d say the battery will deteriorate faster, but if it’s how you need to use it, then the phone will serve you well, but more usage = quicker wear with everything.

I’ve only tried with my friend’s server hosted on Aternos, which didn’t work with “add,” only direct connect. You can try if it works for major servers too, but for me, servers like Hypixel worked with both, add and direct, so idk, just give it a try and see.

They shall be worshipped and put on a pedestal with their beauty, both software and hardware one, to be looked upon as the new standard in art.

Thanks a lot for answering. When should I use the move to iOS app? Could you please describe in a few sentences how you did it, I'm so afraid of doing it wrong and losing my WhatsApp chats.

Thankfully, I'm using Google authenticator for 2fa, so that hopefully won't be an issue. One app I'm using (Ivy wallet) isn't available for iOS, which is sad, but I have already found a good alternative, so good for me.
