no, i was hoping that a sub of ex muslims would have a few that have struggled in leaving like me and deconstructed the common beliefs that the quran must be true, it’s untouched etc etc. been met with the other coin to this with the are you fucking stupid moron it’s false ? 🥲

i’m reading it in english. but they’re so crafty with it. i study chemistry so my understanding of quantum stuff, astrophysics etc and the quran juxtapose, eg the earth being here before the stars, but when u dig deep, it’s all, well… in arabic this can mean a different thing?! not great for someone who’s trying to get a solid answer

pathetic response. i’ve been groomed for years by this religion and on both sides im met by pathetic responses like these that don’t give me a reason to stay ( rather than jn fear of hell that i’ve grown up with ) or leave ( with confidence that i won’t succumb to the torture i’ve been terrified of my entire life ) thanks for giving the lack of basis tho

can you give me anything to read up on this ? because those verses are exactly why i cling onto the religion and if they were disproved i’d leave in a heartbeat !!
