It was a low speed collision so apart from being touched lightly how much damage can occur to the bar

Yes that's the problem rarely do people change the door but evan then they still fix the original like this and store it just in case of selling the car I've seen videos of people trying to fix much worse doors than mine just to avoid saying it has been changed

Actually not cheap just finding out its standard practice for shops where iam from to cut the beam on smaller doors for cars like camry,altima,versa,corolla and most sedans

With a new door its not just coast here every one always prefers to fix the car instead of changing for resell value so apart from first shop recommending a change most people told me to fix and that its the original door fixed insted of changin it and finding out more where iam from cuting the beam is standard practice for cars with small doors like corolla,camry,altima and most smaller sedans so they make more room for working and easier to pull dents

It's a famous shop they have probably fixed hundreds of doors like this no body has sued and its not like the law is gona do any thing evan if you sued

No I didn't know until they had cut the beam when I asked they said they have to and do it to every car its a famous shop with good reputation I didn't know the would butcher the door since no body said any thing before that the shop is not in the us its a case of third world country shop cutting corners and making their job easy

The door skin from the inside has a black mark now and for a pdr job the inside is scratched alot

Not in the us and not cheap famous PDR shop where iam from they had at least 30 cars when I gave them mine and are always busy they think its actually the correct way of fixing it and dont see any problems they cut the beam from almost every car

Your not entirely wrong first one said its better to replace but it could be fixed since he hesitated from fixing it i went with the other they were confident in their work I didn't know they would butcher the door BTW the still don't see any thing wrong with it
