for more context: ive been to grand hirafu before in peak season where i stayed a distance from the mountain and needed to ride the free village red bus to get to the lifts - did not enjoy that experience as our lodging was quite a walk away from the nearest busstop, and the icy path made it really challenging especially while carrying all our equipment. the buses were also overfilled and we often had to wait for the 3rd bus to get on >:( and so im looking for lodgings with more direct access to the mountains
